Hello Pete,
I recently went to a mattress store and did the bed test.
I am listed as green.
Can you give some suggestions that would be good?
I currently have a pillow top mattress and do not want another one.
I was shown an expensive mattress.
How does a pillow top differ from tight top?

Green is a nice color...depending on the shade, of course.
It means absolutely nothing when it comes to buying a mattress.
The machine, that told you that you are green, is only a sales tool.
It's made to appear to be a diagnostic tool. It is not.
Its purpose is to make it easier for the salesman to sell you a mattress and has nothing, at all, to do with what you need... nor what mattress is best for you… just what’s best for the store.
It’s a tool that is designed to give the impression, albeit a false one, that you will be shown a mattress that the salesperson knows is right for you… usually an expensive one. It’s all a bunch of hooey.
A tight top is a mattress that simply doesn’t have the separate pillow part on top.
