Most of the mattresses sold today, are upholstered with memory foam, which is purposefully designed to need frequent replacing.
Add to that, the chemical off gassing and body heat retention (sleeping hot), you have a product developed by those who were looking to maximize profits.
That it’s attained to the detriment of the consumer, makes it diabolical.
To get what you want requires the knowledge of physics that tells you that the softer an upholstery material is, the short the lifespan.
And while you’re of average size, others are lighter or heavier.
The more pressure placed on it, the shorter the lifespan.
The way around this comes in 2 parts.
First, the softest mattress upholstered with high quality, more resilient materials.
My first recommendation is for a pillowtop mattress upholstered with Soft, Pure, Organic and Hypoallergenic Latex Foam.
Pure Latex is and has been the longest lasting upholstery material for more than 100 years. No off gassing… No Sleeping Hot… Lasting for many, many years.
(Latex imported from China is not pure. Clay is used as a filler.
