My New Mattress is Too Firm and I Sleep Hot.

Hi Pete,

My wife and I have a new mattress.
I’m sorry to say we didn’t buy it from you.
Anyway, it’s much to firm for my wife, who’s hip is now hurting.
And it makes both of us too hot. It’s a gel foam that was supposed to sleep cool.
But we wake up in the middle of the night sweating.
I need something that will fix this problem.
What do you suggest?
Thanks, Larry

Hi Larry,
Gel foam is memory foam with gel in it, which is advertised as sleeping cool.
However, as you’re experiencing, the gel reaches a saturation point after a few hours, and then your body’s heat is reflected back to you.

Believe it or not, there’s an easy fix for both issues.
A latex mattress topper will provide your wife with extraordinary comfort to relieve her hip pain and create a barrier between you and the gel memory foam.
Latex is far more resilient than the foam in your mattress, which absorbs most to all of your body weight, which will extend the life of your mattress…essentially paying for itself.

Here too, you need to be careful. Cheap latex that’s made in China has a clay filler when being processed. It’s sold as all natural, but it’s not pure latex.
The result is a short lifespan and costing more in the long run.

Latex for Less has the best prices for the highest quality latex available anywhere.
Pure, Organic and Hypoallergenic Latex.
I recommend the 3” Soft and the optional organic cotton cover.
