We had a Tempur-Pedic Mattress for about 20 years.

We recently bought a new one, top of the line PLUSH model.
After about a week, my husband started having neck pain and I started having hip pain.
Neither of us ever had those pains with our old Tempur-Pedic.
It has a horrible smell and we are sleeping hot with this one.
We are still within the 90 day trial, so we are going to the store we purchased it from to talk to them, within the next few days, about our options of getting a different mattress.
Would it be worth it to get the same mattress in FIRM?
We read about others with hip and back problems - any recommendations about going with totally different mattress altogether, even though we did love our old Tempur-Pedic.

Firm or soft, those mattresses aren't made the way they were when they were first introduced.
The temperature sensitive memory foam allows you to sink, once it warms from your body heat.
This also causes that mattress to sleep hot, reflecting your body heat back to you.
