Hi Pete,
I've read your advice about flipping a pillowtop mattress and adding a topper.
Like so many others, our pillowtop is sagging and causing back pain, and it's only a year old..
Are you sure we can turn over a pillow-top mattress?
I've always heard that you cannot, so we have only rotated it, but have not turned it over.
Thanks, NancyHi Nancy,
The pillow top part of a mattress is the 1st thing to wear…a bad choice when buying a mattress.
Once worn, anything you put on top will conform to the sag you already have.
It’s made as a one sided mattress, but flipping it is your only chance of not having to buy a new mattress.Flipping a one sided mattress to its firm side is a trick that works often enough to try, and costs nothing.
Add what you have handy, like a comforter, to see if it will work for you.
If your back pain goes away, then add a Plush Removable Mattress Topper.
