Brolynn Plush Two Sided coiled mattress.

Hi Pete,

I spoke to a friend, who said you recommended the Brolynn Plush Two Sided coiled mattress.
I do have some concerns about the coils in the bed and radiation from them due to wifi/cellphone signals and electronics, etc.  I'd like to know your thoughts on this.
After discovering your site, last night, my husband and I have decided to also purchase a mattress.
We are very conscious about these types of things as I am healing from a breast cancer diagnosis.
We work very hard to mitigate environmental toxins from our home as much as possible.
We are weary about the latex and its allergies.
Thanks so much, Maileen
Hi Maileen,
I’ve never heard of the coils having that problem.
There’s a lot of toxic off gassing produced by the chemical based memory foam that is used most of today’s mattresses. You'd do well to avoid any mattress upholstered with memory foam.
The allergen in latex is the protein in the sap from the rubber tree.
This protein remains in gloves and bandages.
When latex foam is processed, almost all of the protein is removed to the point of rendering it hypoallergenic.
The latex allergy manifests itself topically.
Latex foam in mattresses, toppers and pillows never come in direct contact with the skin, so there’s never any problem.
All of this is a moot point with the mattress I recommended to your friend.
It contains no memory nor latex foam…using only natural plant based polyurethane.

Shipping is free
Thanks, Pete

Using an old box spring to support any new mattress will cause premature wear and void the manufacturer’s warranty.
A waterproof mattress protector will extend the life of a mattress by keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry.
