Hi Pete,

I'm Looking for a mattress that is comfortable for a side sleeper who has arthritis.
I also suffer with neck and shoulder pain.
I'm 5'5 150 lbs.
Thanks Cyndi
Hi Cyndi,
Most of today’s mattresses that’s are soft enough for a side sleeper with arthritis won’t have support firm enough for you, as well, nor the durability you’ll want to keep you from having to replace it frequently…with memory foam being the reason why.
Most of the mattresses made today are upholstered with memory foam, which is thee thing to avoid.
My recommendation comes in two parts.
The Wolf Jessica Medium Firm Mattress will supply the support.
The individually pocketed coils are strong enough to hold you…providing contouring support that maintains the natural alignment of the body…over many years.

Add to that, a soft latex mattress topper.
The Suite Sleep Latex Mattress Toppers are the highest quality available anywhere.
The softest is the Pure Vita Talalay Latex Topper.
Latex is and has been the best upholstery material for the last 100 years.
They’re hypoallergenic and last for many years.
This is a long term solution to address your arthritis.

Your neck pain is best addressed with a pillow.
The PureBliss Shredded Talalay Latex Pillow allows you to manipulate the fill to fit around your head and neck anyway you want, like you can with a down pillow.
But unlike a down pillow, it won’t flatten out and will also last for many years.
This type of pillow is ideal for relieving chronic neck pain.

Using an old box spring to support any new mattress will cause premature wear and void the manufacturer’s warranty.
A waterproof mattress protector will extend the life of a mattress by keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry.
