If the information you’d gathered that led you to that Serta mattress, was a lot of bad information.
20 years ago, when it was nearly impossible to buy a bad mattress, Serta made a third-rate product.
Since being sold, their mattresses are now upholstered with memory foam, the quality has gotten much worse.
It’s common to assume quality that no longer exists when you’re stepping out of a 20 year time warp.
All of the name brands have been sold to investors, and all are using memory foam to enhance profits and sacrificing quality to make those profits.
The key is making a successful mattress purchase is in avoiding any mattress upholstered with memory foam, which is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing…and not under the terms of the warranty.
And as if the drastic reduction in quality weren’t bad enough, memory foam off gasses the toxic chemicals from which memory foam is made.
A poor quality product and a health hazard, to boot!
Two sided mattresses are scarce.
The Wolf Brolynn Old Fashioned Two Sided Mattress uses a heavy, double tempered steel individually pocketed coil unit and plant based polyurethane foam.
It's a much better made mattress that ANYTHING made by the so-called 'Name Brands' at any price.
Poly foam was the primary upholstery material used 20 years ago.
