We're replacing a Simmons Beautyrest Racquelle Latex Plush Super Pillow Top Mattress.

Hi Pete,

My wife and I are in the market for a new mattress.

We're replacing a Simmons Beautyrest Racquelle Latex Plush Super Pillow Top that we've had since 2009.

It's been a good mattress, but we would like something a little softer.

It also has the indentations and the peak in the middle.

We've had it on a box spring the first 10 years and now it's on a platform bed.

I'm 6' 185 and my wife is 5'10" 170.

I do have lower back pain that I am contributing to the mattress being so old.

We are both side and back sleepers.

Trying to decide on the Natura Greenspring Liberta Ultra Plush or the Wolf Brolynn Plush with a 2" Suite Sleep latex topper.

A couple more questions:

Since we aren't heavy people, do we need the Natura?

Is the Wolf Brolynn Plush soft enough by itself, no topper needed?

If I buy the latex topper and add it to the Wolf Brolynn Plush is it overkill?

Would the Natura Ultra plush be the same as the Wolf Brolynn with a latex topper added?

A number of years ago we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and slept on a Simmons mattress.

It was so comfortable and we bought the Simmons we currently have based on that one.

It wasn't the same one we purchased and wasn't as "plush/soft" as the one we slept on, at the Hotel.

But it was the closest one we could find at the time.

Hi Jeremy,

You’ll need a separate latex topper for either mattress to achieve a “luxuriously soft” surface feel.

So, it makes sense to go with the Wolf Brolynn Plush Mattress at your sizes.

However, since latex is so resilient, I recommend the Suite Sleep 3” Soft Organic Latex Topper.
