I also use an Eights sleep pod mattress cover on top of it.
However, my kids were jumping on the mattress and broke the cover and it leaked all over the mattress.
It is now quite wet. I took the mattress outdoors to dry. I will leave it out another day or 2.
It has a large water stain on it. Is the mattress ruined or can it dry out and still be good?

Hi Steve,
The best thing to do is apply heat to the mattress to make sure the moisture has thoroughly been dissipated.
A hair dryer works well.
There are 2 things that great add to the early demise of a mattress:
Moisture getting into the upholstery materials.
Allowing anyone to use your mattress as a trampoline.
The damage has been done.
How that translates into whether or not you need a new mattress remains to be seen.
