New Tempur-Pedic Mattress is not like our old one.

HI Pete,

We had a Tempur-Pedic mattress for 15 years.
We recently bought a new, top of the line Tempur-Pedic Mattress- a split king Luxe Breeze  (SOFT)
After about a week, my husband started having neck pain and I started having hip pain.
Neither of us ever had those pains with our old Tempur-Pedic.

We are still within the 90 day trial, so we are going to the store we purchased it from to talk to them, within the next few days, about our options of getting a different mattress.
Would it be worth it to get the same mattress in FIRM?

We read about others with hip and back problems - any recommendations about going with totally different mattress altogether, even though we did love our old Tempur-Pedic.

You seem surprised and bewildered.
The state of the mattress industry mirrors the state of our country over the past 15 years. (Not Good)
Best advice today? Avoid any mattress upholstered with memory foam.

What do you recommend?
Is the sleep number bed a good choice.
Or any other mattress you would suggest.
More expensive isn’t always better, we realize that now!
My husband and I are over 60 and need a good quality mattress.

Hi Kristen,
A sleep number bed is a bag of air topped with memory foam.
It’s nothing more than expensive junk.
Ideally, an individually pocketed coil unit upholstered with latex or polyurethane foam.
Since your stuck with an exchange, you’ll have to choose from only that which your retailer has to offer.
First thing is to see what they carry that has no memory foam in it.
Anything upholstered with memory foam will end up being a mistake for which you’ll pay dearly with your pain…not to mention your money.
