Replacing an Old Stearns and Foster Oxford St. Mattress.

Hi Pete,
I'm replacing an old Stearns and Foster Oxford St. mattress.
Is there anything available, today, that would be the same as this one?
Thanks, Mary Beth

Hi Mary Beth,
Stearns and Foster was owned by Sealy at the time your Oxford St. mattress was made.
Tempur-Pedic bought, both, Sealy and S&F in 2013.
Today, everything made with those labels are upholstered with memory foam.
Your mattress has no memory foam in it, which is why it help up so well for so long.

S&F had been considered 'The Cadillac of the Industry' for many decades prior to the sale of those companies.
Today, S&F mattresses are now nothing more than expensive junk, thanks to the memory foam.
Despite all the advertising hype to the contrary, memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented.
The primary purpose of using memory foam is to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing...boosting profits.
Not only is it a lousy product, in terms of performance, it's also poses a health hazard.
Memory foam off gasses the toxic chemicals, from which it's made...causing all sorts of health issues for many people.

So, while there is nothing on the market that is the same as your old Stearns and Foster mattress, there are mattresses that are as high quality...higher, actually.
The components of the Natura of Canada Greenspring mattresses exceed the quality of the components in your old S&F.
Of the four models available in that line, the Ultra Plush is the most comfortable...and the one we sleep on, at home.
Here is a link to that line of mattresses:

These mattresses come with white glove delivery.
Delivery includes set-up in your bedroom and removal of your old mattress/set
Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.

We recommend using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping the upholstery materials clean and dry will extend the life of the mattress.

Thanks, Pete
