A Good Quality Mattress for our 7 year old Daughter.

Steve writes:

Hi Pete,

My wife wants to get a new mattress for our daughter.
She's 7 years old, average size.
A Twin size mattress for a loft bed, (no box spring).
Any suggestions for good quality? Anything to avoid?
Thanks again, Steve

Hi Steve,
Thee thing to avoid, is memory foam.
Not only is it a poor quality upholstery material, it's also a health hazard...off gassing the toxic chemicals from which it's made...formaldehyde and benzene top the list of the more toxic chemicals used.

We have a well made mattress that I'm sure she will enjoy.
The individually pocketed coils provide contouring support, which will maintain the natural alignment of her spine.
The latex upholstery is extremely comfy. Latex has been the best upholstery material for the last 100 years.
Between the high quality upholstery and the double tempered steel coils, this mattress will last her until she is grown and gone. What's more, she can take it with her.
I have a granddaughter growing up on this mattress.

That mattress is the Wolf Adara model.
