Protect-a-Bed Waterproof Mattress Protector Sleeps Hot.

Ellen writes:

Hi Pete,
I recently bought a mattress from a retailer who insisted that I use a waterproof mattress protector.
He said that the warranty is void without it. Is that true?
I like the idea of protecting the mattress from spills and perspiration, but this one that he sold me sleeps hot.
It's a Protect-a-Bed brand with a terry cloth top.
Can you help me find a better, cooler, way to do this?
Thanks Ellen

Hi Ellen,
In fact, I can.
There are lots of things that you can buy that either, don't work, or create another problem.
We have scoured the industry trade shows for products that work, work well, and don't create new problems,
while doing the job they were designed to do.

Protect-a-Bed waterproof mattress protectors have always created the problem of sleeping hot.
And, there have been plenty of reports of that brand failing to protect the mattress, to boot.

We have been offering the Gotcha Covered Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector for years.
We have sold tons of them...with not one complaint.
We use it on our mattresses, at home. It does NOT sleep hot....and has never failed.

Here is the link to that product:

All mattress manufacturers have a "Stain" clause in their warranty.
A stain of any type...any size...anywhere on the mattress, will void the warranty.
It isn't imperative that you use a waterproof mattress protector to maintain your warranty.
But, it certainly makes it easier to keep it stain free.
Now, you can buy one that doesn't sleep hot.

Thanks, Pete
