A Mattress with No Memory Foam, No Mold, No Mildew.

Hi Pete,

We bought our mattress from you and are very happy with the quality and the service you provide.
We now need a mattress for our son.
The problem we face is that we are moving to a high humidity area 
We have heard about problems with mold and mildew from people there.
I don't want memory foam...prefer all natural materials, but don't want to spend a lot of money on this.

Hi Jennifer.
The problem with mold forming is uniquely due to memory foam.
Memory foam is a temperature sensitive material that softens as it warms from your body heat.
It absorbs that heat and reflects it back to you, which makes you hot and causes you to sweat.
That perspiration seeps into the mattress and makes its way to the bottom of the mattress.
That is where the mold forms.
Avoiding memory foam will solve that problem, as no other upholstery material is temperature sensitive.
