I need specific info.  
I am purchasing a floor model, the Aireloom Hotel Vitagenic Holland Maid Luxury firm mattress on an adjustable base.
I can get it at a great price, ($1200), but it will not be returnable.  
I am a side sleeper weighing about 190 lbs.  I sleep hot.  Is this a good option?  
I am so confused as to what is available. My 19 year old mattress is causing neck and shoulder pain.  
I need to decide before May 10 if I want to just not pick this mattress up and get a refund.

Hi Julie,
I recommend you cancel that order.
A lot has changed in the 19 years since you bought your current mattress.
It's common to see people stepping out of what amounts to a time warp, and expecting that everything is the same.
When you bought yours, it was nearly impossible to buy a bad mattress.
Today, the opposite is true. It's nearly impossible to buy a good one.

All of the name brands that we were all able to trust, have been sold to investors.
Memory foam is now used to recoup their investment and turn a profit.
Memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented, purposefully designed to cause mattresses to need frequent replacing.
Today, it's all about sales and profit, and not at all about quality.

Besides being a lousy product in terms of performance, there are more negative effects.
Memory foam is the only temperature sensitive material made. 
It softens by absorbing your body heat, then reflects that heat back to you.
What's worse, is that memory foam off gasses the toxic chemicals from which it's made.
Several of the 61 different chemicals are toxic. The worst of them is Formaldehyde and Benzene.

The truly diabolical part of all this, is that you will not be able to prevail in a warranty claim. (A moot point, since floor samples don't come with a factory warranty).
Even after the memory foam has lost its comfort and support, and you're sinking way into it, which causes back pain, when you get out of bed, the memory foam returns to its original shape...or close enough to it...that it will not meet the criteria necessary to get authorize a replacement.

What appears to be a great price, will result in a waste of money.
