Warranty Issue: Sealy Posturepedic Plush Euro Pillowtop Mattress.

Robin writes:

Hi Pete,
In March of 2015, I purchased a Sealy Posturepedic Plush Euro pillowtop mattress and boxspring from a local store.
Now, it's less than 4 years later and it has sagged to the point that I am no longer sleeping comfortably.
I have contacted the store to see about getting it replaced under the warranty.
When a mattress is replaced under a warranty, must you keep the same model if it's still available, or is that up to the store?
I am 5'5", 145 pounds, and like a fairly firm but not hard mattress.
I like your suggestion to avoid pillowtops and to purchase a latex topper instead, which I would like to try this time around.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Robin

Hi Robin,
Once the factory has authorized an exchange, you should be able to choose anything in the store.
Tempur-Sealy, of course, will be expecting you to choose a Sealy or S&F product. (Tempurpedic owns both of those brands...which is why it didn't wear well.)
It's Sealy's job to offer you an appropriate model in exchange, value-wise).
They allow you to upgrade for whatever the difference in price. A firmer mattress with a latex topper is you best, long term, solution.
Opt for the cushion firm model without a pillowtop and add an EverEden Pure, All Natural 2" Soft Talalay Latex Topper.
You should get a good 10 years from this combination.
Here is the link to the latex toppers:
