I went to Mattress Firm and was served by a rude, offensive, and impatient salesperson. 
But sadly, on this, my first day of shopping, the Simmons Beautyrest Legend Bradford was the most comfortable mattress. 
It felt like it hugged me throughout the entirety of my exposure, vs. the other mattresses, where I sank in and the experience grew stale soon after. 
I'm not very experienced with mattresses, so perhaps what I like most about this mattress is actually its worst quality.
But I value your opinion, and any good alternatives to this Plush Pillowtop, or even a warning about that mattress, is welcomed and appreciated!

You’re looking at a mattress that will begin to lose its support and comfort, almost immediately. You’ll feel a change within a month, or so.
The mattress will be totally shot by the time a year has passed.
If you were to research reviews on Simmons Beautyrest, you’ll find them to be horrible.
The reason why is in direct relation to why you’re interested....initial comfort.
Plush and Plush Pillowtop models are the most comfortable, initially...and the primary reason for all the bad reviews.

The upholstery is memory foam and the gauge of wire used to make the coils is very thin in the plush models. And, the coils are made of non-tempered, raw steel.

And, to make matters worse, the Legend is a Mattress Firm exclusive.
The Legend is a Platinum Series Beautyrest with a couple of extra bells and whistles that mean very little...adding slightly to the initial comfort and also adding to its early demise. As an exclusive, its way overpriced.

If you want more...extraordinary comfort and better support, and the value that comes with having the mattress remain like new for many years...then I recommend the following:
For average weight people, The Simmons Beautyrest Platinum Gibson Grove Luxury Firm Mattress and an EverEden Pure, All Natural 2” Soft Talalay Latex Topper.

For heavy people 200 - 250 lbs., The Simmons Beautyrest Black Desiree Luxury Firm Mattress and the same latex topper.

The firmer Beautyrests use a heavier gauge wire for better, longer lasting support.
The soft latex topper provides superior surface comfort that remains like new for many years. The latex topper will sleep cool, insulating you from the memory foam in the mattress, which sleeps hot.
Latex is also extremely resilient, absorbing much to all of your body weight.
The result is a sleep system that lasts far longer than the manufacturer intended.

You have to understand that all of the name brands, that you used to be able to trust to make a quality product, no longer do so.
All have been sold to investors who use memory foam to sell more mattresses more frequently to the same people.

The diabolical part of memory foam is that it returns to its original shape when you get out of bed. THIS is what makes it highly unlikely that you’ll ever prevail in a warranty claim.
