We are on our 2nd Simmons Beautyrest plush pillowtop mattress in 2 years.
So we are on the hunt again for the perfect mattress. 
I am a side sleeper and my husband mostly sleeps on his back, but can really sleep anywhere. 
We've gone shopping to four different stores, and so far, like the firm mattress with a tight top . 
Do you believe this would be a good bed for a side sleeper? I don't want the pressure points on my hips, etc., but I also think pillowtops are too soft.

Hi Stephanie,
If you were to research reviews online about Simmons Beautyrest mattresses, you'll find that they are horrible.
The reason why those reviews are so bad, is because of the way they are bought and sold.
Most of those people went for comfort when buying, with total disregard to durability.
Sales people will show you the most comfortable models, all in an effort to make the quick and easy sale.
What those people ended up with, is a Plush or Plush Pillowtop model.
A Simmons Beautyrest is made plush by using a much thinner gauge wire for the coils. The gauge of wire is much heavier in their firmer models.
Also, the upholstery is memory foam. Neither the memory foam nor the thin wire coils hold up well. Usually, a year is all you get.
