Sealy Posturepedic Reflexion Latex Mattress Needs a Latex Topper.

Warren writes:

Hi Pete,
We have a latex foam queen-size mattress that is about 10 years old.
It has a poly foam top layer that has become very compacted and lumpy, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep on.
The label reads "Sealy Posturepedic Reflexion", naturally reflecting the human form, Latex Foam Mattresses Huntington Beach
It's made by Sealy Innovations Division.
The latex part seems to be in good shape. I have the sense that I could remove the top layer and replace it with one of your mattress toppers.
Removing the padded layer would also involve removing the side covering of the latex mattress. (This mattress is one-sided.)
I would appreciate your comments on what products you have that might solve our problem.
It might help for you to know that I am 6'-3"/225 lbs and my wife is 5-2"/120 lbs.
Neither of us like a really soft surface.
Please include pricing and lead time for delivery if we should place an order.
Thank you, Warren

Hi Warren,
You may not need to do anything other than flip your mattress over.
Try it that way for a couple of nights before buying anything.
If at that point, you feel the need to add a latex topper, go with the EverEden 2" Vytex Dunlop in Medium.
This choice will create a feel more like your mattress had originally...but will keep its shape a lot longer.
BTW, 10 years is darn good for that model.
Here is the link to the latex toppers.
