Simmons Beautyrest Black Tolliver Mattress.

I'm about to get delivery on a Simmons Beautyrest Black Tolliver mattress. 

Is this a good mattress?  I am not expecting lifetime longevity. 

We just found it comfortable. I am not sure I understand the technology. 

We did like the adjustable base especially for tv watching. 

Of course its at a store that seems like it's an exclusive for that store. 

We are getting rid of a 15 year old Stearns and Foster pillow top mattress that saw its last days years ago. 

Any advice would be great. 

Is there a different version of the Beautyrest sold under a different name for less and it is quite pricey.

Hi Aileen,
By itself, that mattress will not hold up well.
Your 15 year old S&F mattress had no memory foam in it...which is why you were happy with it for so long.
This Simmons Black Hybrid is upholstered with nothing but memory foam.
Memory foam is specifically designed to cause a mattress to need frequent replacing.
Memory foam is the worst upholstery material ever invented.

And, you may be spending more than is necessary.
The idea that cost equates to quality is anything but true in this industry.
