Sealy Memory Foam Mattress Sleeps Hot and has Developed Body Impressions.

Paula writes:

Hi Pete,
I have a king size Sealy memory foam "cool" mattress on an adjustable foundation.
It is 6 years old and has become so bad to sleep on, my husband and I dread getting in it at night.
This thing was not cheap, over $5,000.00.  It has developed body indentations and has what I have been told is called the king's ridge.
From what I have read, all mattresses will develop this ridge.
I love a king size bed but if they all get this ridge and indentation I would have to go down to a queen.
My question is, will your latex mattresses do the same thing?
This Sealy so called cool mattress is like sleeping in a swamp it is so hot.
We fell for the sales pitch and now are facing buying a new mattress because of this.
I don't want to make the same expensive mistake again.
What can you recommend?
Thanks, Paula

Hi Paula,
Memory foam has proven to be the worst upholstery material ever invented, over its 20 year history.
Latex is and has been the best upholstery material for the last 100 years.
They are the polar opposite of one another.

You have another option open to you, that doesn’t include a new mattress.
The memory foam in your mattress is only at the top.
It’s supported by high density polyurethane foam.
You can order a latex topper only.
When it arrives, flip the mattress over, then add the latex topper.
This fix lasts for several years, allowing you to get more out of the $5K you spent.
Here is the link to all of our latex toppers.

Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.

Thanks, Pete
