Hi Pete,
We received a replacement for the Sealy Posturepedic Monogram 600 mattress, that we bought a couple of years ago. The first one I had was model number 603565; The bed ended up sagging a lot in 4 months so they replaced it. But, the model number I received is 503573. It looks the same, but feels different than the original one when I first bought it.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Hi Kelly,
According to the warranty, the manufacturer will replace your mattress with something of equal quality or better.
Considering that models and specs change every year or two, rarely will a warranty claim end up with you getting exactly what you had.
Warranty claims are handled through your retailer. This is where most of the problems start.

The manufacturer won't "pull a fast one", but many retailers will.
This is especially true of the large chains that rely on mass media marketing for their business, as opposed to smaller, family owned stores.
Quite often, today's large chain retailers will attempt to turn a service call into another sale.
They credit you for the money you spent toward the purchase of a new mattress....instead of only charging a delivery fee, as stipulated in the warranty.
So, be careful of that. The model numbers mean nothing to me. Those are internal numbers for Sealy.
Considering that there is so much shenanigans practiced in this industry by so many of your "trusted" retailers, I suggest a little investigative work on your part.

I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
