Sealy SpringFree Solano Beach Latex Mattress Warranty.

I am writing with the same concerns and disappointment as some of the other people who bought the Sealy SpringFree Solano Beach Latex mattress.  
We bought the mattress in 2008. 
We have used it in our second home in Arizona for the past 10 years.  
We only use the home for 5 months each year so the mattress is not well used.  
We, too, have a ridge in the center of the mattress and on each outside edge.  
Compared to other mattresses we've had, this one has not performed well, at all.  
Do we have a warranty issue we can pursue?

Hi Richard,
The sustained impression, with no one on the mattress, needs to be 1.5" deep or more, in order to prevail in getting authorization for an exchange. 
Also, the mattress needs to be clean, totally free of any stains. 
A stain will, automatically, void the warranty.
If these check out, call the retailer where you bought it and register your warranty claim.

For the record, it wasn't the latex that failed in that mattress. 
It was the excessive amount of poly foam on top of the latex, that caused your body impressions.
It would have been helpful to have used a waterproof mattress protector.
Keeping the mattress dry helps to preserve the integrity of the foams.
You'd be surprised at how much damaged nightly perspiration causes.

If you do not get authorization, there is another solution.
Flip the mattress. This will put the worn side down and the firm latex side up.
Add to that a layer of soft latex to provide surface comfort.
The best is the EverEden Pure, All Natural Talalay Latex. 
3" would be what you want to most closely mimic the initial feel of the mattress.

ALSO IMPORTANT:
I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will greatly extend the life and loft of the upholstery materials inside. Ours sleep cool and make NO Noise.
