My Latex Mattress Topper Has a Body Impression.

Hi Charles,
You're missing something...something you wouldn't have missed, had you read more of the other blog posts on the subject.
You made the assumption that all Talalay Latex mattress toppers are the same.
You assumed that you were buying the same quality for less.
THAT, was an erroneous assumption.

All available Talalay Latex is NOT the same quality.
The one we recommend, comes from EverEden.
Their Talalay Latex is Pure, 100% All Natural Latex....with NOTHING else in it.

That is NOT what you bought.
Some of the other Talalay Latex, available online, is blended...30% natural & 70% synthetic.
Synthetic latex is a molecular clone of natural latex. it's not as durable, but close.
In fact, we carry blended latex from Pure Talalay Bliss, and Natura.
Those prices are about the same as our EverEden prices.
These 3 brands are, ALL, US made. 

But, that's not what you bought.
Undisclosed to you, the Talalay Latex you bought, was made in China.
Chinese latex, for the most part, includes clay as a filler.
Clay is a natural product, so it's sold as natural or all natural latex.
Clay, added to the mix, makes it a lot less expensive to make and wears as poorly as yours has.

My grandparents, all, immigrated here from Italy...about 100 years ago.
I was lucky enough to have them as part of my upbringing for a good portion of my early years.
My paternal grandfather had a favorite saying, when it came to buying "Durable Goods".
He used to say, in Italian, "Solo Il Meglio", which translates into "Only the Best".
He knew that quality was far less expensive in the long term.
Saving money on inferior quality is far more expensive, due to the frequency of having to replace them.


ALSO IMPORTANT:
I suggest using a waterproof mattress protector with every mattress.
Keeping your mattress clean and dry will greatly extend the life and loft of the upholstery materials inside. Ours sleep cool and make NO Noise.
