Futon or Day Bed for My Son's Bedroom?

Ellen writes:

Hi Pete,
I'm trying to decide between a Futon or a Day Bed for my son's bedroom.
It seems like a futon would be a better fit, but there are a couple of issues with that option.
The cotton mattresses that come with the futons is firm and not comfy.
And, when they open, it's only a full size and not big enough if he has a friend sleep over.
I can get a much better mattress for the Day Bed, and a trundle bed to go under it for a friend.
Your advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Ellen

Hi Ellen,
The problem you have been facing is that many futons only come that way...full size and a cotton mattress.
The day bed is too deep to sit in comfortably, but with a good mattress, it does sleep better.
I can offer you the best of both...which will solve both of those issues.
The futon frames and mattresses we carry are available in queen size, as well as full size.
And, there are several choices of mattresses, including two with inner-springs for support and comfort and good as any mattress.
Actually, they're better than most mattresses, as they contain NO Memory Foam.
Here is a link to those futon frames and mattresses:
