I have never had back problems in my life. However, my husband has had two back surgeries.
So you can see with the problems I am having, you can only imagine what my husband is going through.
I have resigned my self to sleep in the grand children’s castle. The whole room is designed as a castle.
We have two extra large twin beds in there that are half the size of a king mattress.
These were bought from Denver Mattress about 15 years ago.
They are in great shape, even though the kids have jumped on them many, many times.
I just want a decent mattress that we can share. We have traveled in Europe, Canada and several locations in the states.
Not once did we ever have a problem with their beds.
My husband has found several complaints on the internet concerning mattresses bought from “Furniture Row”.
It looks like our old “Denver Mattress Company” sold out to this Furniture Row.
I don’t care if I lose my money with this group, I just need to know where we can get a decent mattress.
I'm 5'3" and 160 Lbs. My husband is 6'2" and 215 Lbs.

I found your mattress on their website. As I suspected, it's upholstered with memory foam.
The entire purpose of the industry's use of memory foam, is to sell more mattresses, more frequently to the same people.
Memory foam is the only upholstery material that is temperature sensitive.
This means that as the memory foam warms fro the body heat your body gives off, it softens and allows you to sink into it.
You'll sink further where you're heaviest...usually at the hip and waist. This, then, throws of the alignment of your spine...causing pain for most.
The truly diabolical part of memory foam, is that it recovers when you get off of the mattress...so that you are highly unlikely to prevail in a warranty claim.
When you body is not properly aligned and supported, all sorts of physical issues arise.
And, to add insult to injury, memory foam consists of 61 different chemicals...some of which, are toxic...like formaldehyde and benzene.
It then off gasses fumes that are toxic. These fumes attack your respiratory system. The most common side effect is sinus headache. Although, much more serious side effects have been reported.
All of the name brands have gone down this path. Some, after having been purchased by investment groups.
Sealy and S&F are now owned by Tempurpedic. The industry, as you knew it years ago, no longer exists.
We used to be a Sealy/S&F retailer, but dropped both lines when Tempurpedic bought them.
I weigh as much as your husband, but not as tall...and I have Herniated & Bulging Discs, as well as Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD).
I used to suffer with almost constant back pain. Now, I have no pain.
So, let me recommend to you, that which we use at home.
We've spent countless hours at the trade shows, looking for high quality mattresses that contain no memory foam.
We have, in fact, found very high quality products upholstered with latex.
Latex was discpvered in the 1880s and first used in mattresses during the 1920s.
It is and has been thee best upholstery material ever...extremely long lasting and super comfy.
The mattress is made in Canada...Natura of Canada. Their Greenspring line uses an individually pocketed coil unit with a much higher coil count than the mattress you have...more than any other brand.
The pocketed coils provide contouring support that maintains the natural alignment of the spine.
This is the best mattress I've found.

We bought the Ultra Plush model, which you would think would be soft enough. It wasn't. We had to add a soft latex topper to it.
The Plush Eurotop has been the right choice for all the people who have bought one. And, that's been quite a lot.
Ours is a year and a half old...and shows not even the slightest signs of wear. That's with each of us in the 220 lb. range.
We have been recommending this mattress...especially for heavier people with disc related back pain.
All, including myself, feel relief from the pain they've been living with.

Having said all that, let me ask you...what stops you from moving those twin-xl mattresses into your bedroom?
There is a strap with a "V" shaped piece of foam that available at Bed Bath & Beyond, which turns them into what looks and feels like a king size mattress.
If you know those mattresses are comfortable for you, you can replace those for a whole lot less money.
