Does Simmons change the name of the same mattress for each different store?

The model names do change from store to store. The best way to shop effectively is to compare the specifications.
Even if you don't understand what they mean, you can compare to see if they are the same...store to store.
A plush pillowtop from any brand will be both, the most comfortable and have the shortest life span.
The gauge of the wire for the coils is much thinner in a plush pillowtop Beautyrest.
In conjunction with the memory foam upholstery, you'd be lucky to get a year or two out of one.
If you look at reviews for Simmons Beautyrests, you'll see that they are horrible.
So many plush and pillowtop models sold, because of their initial comfort, is why.
The problem is that 'comfort' is being pushed above all else, when shopping at stores. Stop to consider the weight of adults on that marshmallowy feeling mattress.
Consider what the pressure of your body weights will do to an upholstered product that soft.
The sales people will tell you anything you want to hear, to make the sale...including lying about how well it will hold up.
But, if you use some common sense, you'll realize that it just can't last long...and, it doesn't.
Opt, instead, for a luxury firm Beautyrest without a pillowtop. The heavier gauge wire will provide better and longer lasting support for you spine.
Add to that, 2" of soft latex for the comfort you want. Latex is all natural foam rubber and far superior to the foams used inside those pillowtops.
The comfort you felt in the showroom was meant to be seductive. The mattress industry wants to see you buying a new mattress every couple of years.
What I recommended to you will keep you out of that revolving door and sleeping well supported and comfortable for many years...true quality and value.
