You've provided great info regarding NovaForm memory foam mattresses.
It would be super if you could update your comments now that NovaForm has upgraded their specifications on the Gel and Pure comfort products.
I'd be interested to know your thoughts as to how NovaForm now compares to the top memory foam manufacturers.

Fact is, it doesn't really matter. Memory foam is a temperature sensitive, slow recovery foam.
You've seen the ads where a hand is pressed into memory foam and it leaves a hand print when it's taken away.
This means that you are getting zero push back, which translates into zero support. If you have back problems, they will get worse.
Whether it's chemical based or plant based, memory foam is a lousy product that provides no support and wears our quickly.
The term you used, "Top memory foam manufacturers", made me laugh....since memory foam is nothing but pure garbage, and a health hazard.
It's like saying, "Top cigarette manufacturers". Both attack your respiratory system.
Memory foam does it by off gassing the toxic chemicals from which it's made.
I'm afraid you've been taken in by all the advertising...and/or perhaps, salespeople's BS sales pitches.
Memory foam is the absolute worst upholstery material ever invented.
When it comes to those who manufacture it and those who push it at retail, "Top" isn't a word I would use.
"Whores and Pirates" is a better description.
I hit that a little harder than usual, because you've, obviously, been to and read my blog...and still having understood.
I hope, now, that I've made myself abundantly clear on the subject of memory foam. I wouldn't want you to misunderstand me.
If you want an all foam mattress, buy all natural, chemical free latex.
It provides support and comfort...responds immediately...sleeps cool...and lasts for many years.
A quality product, like latex, has value. Memory foam is worthless.
The gel is used to mitigate the heat produced by memory foam. However, gel doesn't work long...a few hours, at best...and back to the furnace you go.
It is merely the latest in a long procession of sales gimmicks offered by the memory foam mattress industry.
