Replacing an old two sided Sealy Posturpedic Expedition Plush Mattress.

Hello Pete,
We are currently on a 16 year old two sided Sealy Posturpedic Expedition Plush Mattress and are looking to replace it with something similar.
What would you recommend would be a modern equivalent?
Also, the frame we had with it was always pretty weak with horrible stability and broke and bent easily, do you have any recommendations on a good solid frame?
Thanks, Justin

Hi Justin,
You have a well made two sided mattress.
Sealy doesn't make anything like that and nothing that is nearly as good.
Sealy is now owned by Tempurpedic and everything they make today is loaded with memory foam...the worst upholstery material ever invented.
The reason why your mattress lasted so long and held up so well, is because it doesn't have any memory foam in it.

We do carry an old fashioned two-sided mattress...similarly made to your old Sealy Posturepedic...using the same type of upholstery...containing NO Memory Foam.
The Brooklyn Plush model would be the one...and as close as you'll get in today's market.
Shown here:
Old Fashioned made Two Sided Mattress that you can flip. Strong coil unit and NO Memory Foam. Durable for Plus Sized People. Works with Adjustable Bed Bases.

The frame you'll want is made by Leggett & Platt and is called "The Instamatic".
You can get them almost anywhere and you can google it to see what it looks like.
It comes with a lifetime guarantee. You'll be able to leave in to your grandchildren in your's that well made.
