Hi Marie,
For your 4 year old...she will physically develop when she gets older.
When that time comes...or if she should complain that the Sealy mattress, you bought, isn't comfortable...add a 2" Soft Talalay Latex topper to her mattress.
Latex is all natural and has no chemical off gassing...so, you can just put it on top.

I have two recommendations for you and your husband.
The first is the stronger of the two...much longer lasting...similar in many ways, but not as comfortable as the second recommendation.
My wife and I have this first mattress...then again, we are approx. 225 each.
The brand is Natura of Canada. The mattress is the Greenspring Plush Eurotop...the most comfortable of their 5 models.

And while option one is a better mattress and will, in fact, improve your pressure point problems...I believe you will both be more comfortable with option 2.

With option #2, you can reasonably expect about 10 years...and that is due to the latex topper. Without the latex topper, that mattress will only last a few years,
