All of the name brand mattress manufacturers use memory foam in every model they make.
As you may know from reading my blog, the toxic chemical soup that becomes memory foam, is not only a lousy product in terms of performance, it's also a health hazard.
The acrid odor that emanates from mattresses made with memory foam, is the off gassing of the toxic chemicals from which it's made.
The reason why the names you've trusted have betrayed that trust by using memory foam, is simple...money.
Even though memory foam loses its support and comfort quickly, the memory foam returns to it's original shape when you get out of bed.
What this means is, you will not likely be able to prevail in a warranty claim.
The memory foam won't show a sustained impression deep enough to get authorization from the factory to exchange it. Subsequently, the industry is selling more mattresses more frequently to the same people. This has created a boon for the industry and a nightmare for the consumer.
The problem continues because most people don't realize that it's the memory foam creating the problem...so, they don't know to stay away from it.
Today, you have to look far and wide to find high quality mattresses with no memory foam in them.
Most stores are a sea of mattresses, all with memory foam.
We shop for these high quality products at the trade shows...easier to find when they're all in one place.
We test them at home and promote only the best of them.
