Stearns & Foster Mattress at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

 Hi Pete,
We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and we were bowled over by their Stearns & Foster mattress.  
I have looked at their website and they sell them but for a couple reasons I do not wish to purchase one there.  
I understand that Stearns & Foster custom makes Ritz's beds, but i was wondering which retail market mattress comes closest?  d
Do you sell one?

Hotels, for the most part, and certainly at hotels like The Ritz Carlton, place their emphasis on comfort for their guests...which is why you slept so well.
The area, in which they not concerned, is in the durability of the mattress.
Hotel rooms are filled on a rotating basis...used, perhaps, 3-4 times a week.
Even with the part time use they are given, they need to be replaced every few years.

Ever since Stearns & Foster was purchased by Tempurpedic, they loaded everything with memory foam. It was at that time, we stopped carrying that brand.
It's the memory foam that creates the comfort and it's the memory foam that causes mattresses to wear so quickly.
They are an extremely poor value. We do not recommend anything that is made by Tempurpedic...which includes Sealy products.

Basing your purchase, strictly on initial comfort, with no regard to durability, is a complete waste of money. Making the assumption that name brand bedding means that the quality is there, is an incorrect one. 
S&F had been known as "The Cadillac of the Industry"...for many decades.
Since 2014, they are nothing more than expensive junk.

Hi Steven,
The most supportive coil system is the individually pocketed coil, which contours to the shape of the body and maintains the natural alignment of the spine.
This would be the same coil unit inside the S&F mattress.
The chemical laden memory foam, that is so commonly used, is the problem.
The best upholstery material has always been natural latex...the best for the last 100 years.
The mattress that has both, the pocketed coil, latex upholstery and no memory foam is the mattress we sleep on at home.
