Stearns and Foster Carried Away mattress replacement.

Hi Pete, 
We love your website.  Based on prior posts by others I think I know what you’ll answer, but here’s our situation. In 2009 my wife and I bought a S&F Carried Away Firm.  I am 5’9” 165 she’s 5’6” 125.  The mattress felt great for about 9 months.  Then we started to feel like we rolled to the middle. My wife would complain that she was sleeping in a valley.  Over the next several years it got less and less comfortable. 
Recently, Macy’s sent out an inspector and found that we qualify under the warranty for a replacement.  The new mattress will be a S&F. We don’t want to go through the same experience again.  What do you suggest in terms of the best S&F mattress?
I am guessing you’ll recommend the Belleville model and that we buy a latex topper?  If so, which topper?

 Hi John,
In 2013, Tempurpedic bought Sealy and S&F...and then loaded every model with memory foam. So, I do not recommend that you get another S&F mattress.
The mattress that Macy's has that I do recommend, is the Simmons Beautyrest World Class Keaton in Luxury Firm.
The Keaton is the same as or Santorini...and this link will show you what it should cost.

From a retailer's point of view, it shouldn't matter which mattress you choose. So, if they allow it, switch to the Simmons Beautyrest.
If you must get a S&F, then yes, the Belleview would be my choice.
Either way, add an EverEden all natural 2" soft or talalay latex topper to the surface for the comfort and longevity you're looking for.
The latex provides pressure point relief and muscular relaxation that you won't get with the mattress alone.
What's more, the latex topper will double the life of the mattress. Latex is extremely resilient, absorbing most of your body weight, which relieves the pressure on the mattress.
