Since the price war of the mid 1980s, most mattresses are branded with different model names for each retailer...making shopping a whole lot more difficult.

You would need to find a Serta dealer to help you with this question.
The problem will be in finding one who will be truthful.
It's common for mattress people to say anything to make a sale.

You are better off to ascertain the specifications of the mattress you like, then shop by comparing those specifications.
Knowing the specs is the only way to see inside a mattress.
Otherwise, you're left relying on the veracity of mattress sales people.
Which, I'm sorry to say, amounts to nothing more than a fool's errand.

As an aside, I've been in this industry for 40+ years. In all that time, Serta has always made a 3rd rate product...which is why we don't carry that line.
I'd hate to see you, or anyone, throw their money away.
