Latex Mattress Topper to Relieve Pressure Point Pain at the Hip & Shoulder.

Chuck writes:

Hi Pete,
I have been on your forum many times, read many of the posts, questions, answers, etc …. My mom is 74 years old. She has arthritis in her hip, her knee. She also has a torn rotator cuff.
She experiences most of her pain in her knee and hip. Usually this is during the day. Recently, she has awaken in the morning feeling some slight pain.
She is short but a little on the "heavy" side although she has lost a lot of weight. She has a much older box-spring mattress that seems to be in good shape.
About 10 years ago, she put on one of those "fad" memory foam toppers. It, of course, has lost all support. I think she would do well with just a latex topper.
My question is for someone with some moderate pain, her size, age … should she put on a soft or medium Talalay topper; or will the Dunlop (firmer) be better.
I need to do something for her quick. Thanks for your reply.Chuck

Hi Chuck,
She will benefit, most, from the soft Talalay.
It does the best job of relieving pressure points and providing the greatest degree of comfort.
Go with the Ever-Eden 2" of soft Talalay Latex Topper.
