Casper Mattress Sleeps Hot and is Too Soft.

I know you recommend latex as being the best and for sleeping cool.
We trying a Casper mattress. And although I thought it was ok, it was too soft for my wife. 
That bed has latex as the top layer. It also ran hot for me. Any idea as to why?

Hi Mark,
Casper uses a very thin layer of latex over memory foam....not enough to counter the heating effect of the memory foam.
Memory foam sleeps hot. Latex does not.
We receive no complaints about sleeping hot in any of the beds we recommend.
You could flip that mattress over to expose it's firmer side and add an Ever-Eden 2" Soft Talalay Latex topper to that.

The softness will be only at the surface, while the rest of the mattress will feel firm.
And, it will sleep cool....solving all of your problems.
