The frames are made, specific to the size of the bed...with all the appropriate support for each specific size.
That said, there is no better support than the floor.
In lieu of the frame, at home, we put a standard size boxspring directly on the floor. It works just fine.
Today's mattresses are designed to fail quickly and need replacing frequently...especially those made by the name brands, who have seen fit to betray the trust they had spent decades building.
And when it comes to what they offer, the more you spend, the sooner it fails.
