Your knowledge about all this, is based on what you've learned thus far.
Your perception is skewed due to this limited amount of information.
Kingsdown is a limited distribution kind of company. That is to say, within each market place, ie: BC, Toronto, Atlanta, LA, etc. there will be only one, maybe two places where you can find a Kingsdown mattress.
Compare that with a Sealy or Serta, where you will find multiple retail stores in every area that carry those brands.
Retailers, who are lucky enough to get the Kingsdown brand, find themselves with very little, if any, local competition.
What that means is, it's over priced...the whole point to limited distribution.
Also, Kingsdown is loaded with memory foam, which has the comfort needed to make the sale, but doesn't last long or support well.
Besides its poor performance, it's made of 61 different chemicals, some of which are toxic...like formaldehyde and benzene, just to name a couple.
It off gases these toxic chemicals, making it a health hazard. This business of adding insult to injury, makes memory foam thee absolute worst upholstery material on the market.
So, not only did you buy a lousy mattress, you over paid for it.
The Natura Greenspring line of mattresses are upholstered with all natural Talalay Latex. Latex is and has been thee very best upholstery material for the last 100 years.
Also, we don't inflate those prices, as a Kindsdown dealer would. We offer our mattresses at a true discount.
So, what appears to be "cheaping out" is anything but. You would, in fact be buying a superior quality product at a real discounted price....

This, is true value for your dollar.
Latex feels nothing like memory foam. It is far more comfortable and far more resilient than memory foam...and, latex sleeps cool naturally, while memory foam sleeps hot.
So, when you talk about firm or soft, you aren't taking into consideration that the latex in the Natura mattresses is vastly superior to what you are currently experiencing.
There is no industry standard for this nonsense of comfort levels...2 and 4 are what you mentioned. Those were made up by your retailer, most likely...and are totally meaningless.
In short, it's nothing more than part of the salesman's line of BS.
So, your see, what you know is based on a lot of mis-information. I urge you to forget all that. It only serves to confuse the consumer.
The are a lot of coils in the Natura Greenspring...more than in a World Class Beautyrest. Also, those coils are double tempered and extremely resilient.
They are upholstered with all natural, chemical free Talalay Latex...with 1" of natural soy based polyfoam in the quilted cover.
Since the quality of the material in the Natura are vastly better than the materials in your Kingsdown, you don't need to compensate by going with the firm models, unless of course, you simply like a firm feeling mattress.
For most people, and what I would recommend for you, is the Natura Greenspring Liberty Plush model.
