Hi Sue,
That's like asking who would make a better president, Clinton or Trump.
The same principle applies here, as neither company makes, what I call, a good bed.
Then again, I have a 40+ year perspective. It's been only 12 years, or so, when the mattress industry followed many of our other illustrious industries in the path of corporate greed.
In other words, they don't make them as well as they used to.
Simmons, however, still makes an important and substantial coil unit that is designed to maintain the natural alignment of your spine...therapeutic and comfy.
The trick is in having their mattresses last a decent amount of time, so you get your money's worth.
And, you can't do that with any of their mattresses alone, as they, King Koil and every major brand are using memory foam to make the sale.
Memory foam has the initial comfort needed to make the sale, but doesn't hold up worth a good darn. Memory foam is what causes the short life and the need for frequent replacement.
Memory foam is thee absolute worse material ever invented.
And, to add insult to injury, memory foam is also a health hazard...off gassing the toxic chemicals from which it's made.
