A latex mattress topper will soften the surface and add longevity to that mattress.
I have no problem with the mattress, but am not crazy about the customer service that Therapedic provides the consumer, should you ever need it.
To be sure of the contents of that mattress, look at the white "Law" label that is attached to the head of the mattress.
It will tell you, by percentage, what upholstery materials are used in that mattress. I'm mistrustful of the information provided by salespeople.
They tend to be, either, misinformed, or given to telling you what you want to hear. Reading the label takes the guess work out of it.
The Pure Bliss Nutrition is a much better choice, but as you noted, it is expensive.
