A Latex Mattress Topper to Use Inside a Sleep Number Bed.

Teresa writes:

Hi There: About 3 years ago, my husband and I started searching for a new mattress. He has lower back issues and I have hip problems -- both were acting up. We first purchased a memory foam set and had to return it. So - we ended up with an expensive Sleepnumber bed, which seemed quite comfortable for about 2 years. Recently we have both been waking up with aching backs and hips and are trying to figure out what to do.
The idea of a latex topper is appealing, but our bed is one of those that (although a Queen size) is divided into two parts so that each is adjustable independent of the other.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks, Teresa

Hi Teresa,
A latex topper is exactly what you need, although not used as you're thinking.
Your problem is the memory foam that's just under your cover. This, is what has failed and the reason why you're having pain.
Unzip the cover and measure the thickness of the memory foam.
Then, all you have to do, is replace it with the same thickness of latex,
I would suggest going with Dunlop latex, used this way.
Here's the link to the latex toppers.

Moisture from perspiration causes premature wear.
