All Natural Latex Foam 2" Mattress Topper.

I would like to order your all natural king size latex foam mattress topper for $449.   I am about to have a second spinal fusion for the level above the previous fusion in 2007.  We have turned our Sealy Trueform memory foam bed sideways to try to stretch the Mattress’s lifetime.  We bought it in ’07.  Last night was the first time we slept on it “sideways” (detached frame from headboard and turned frame sideways) and our muscles are killing us this morning.  Do you think it might work to put the topper on the sideways mattress?  Or just put the money toward a new mattress? 
I really really appreciate your blog and any input you might give.  We are both large people (both 6’) and weigh 230/250.  My husband does not have the extent of arthritis that I do b/c I have been through 3 battles with advanced cancer  (uterine/30 yrs ago  AND colon X2).   I have had lots of chemo and radiation so my spine is challenging.  Both surgeries have been/will be for problems with nerve impingement pain that stops me from walking.  I do not have any back pain.  New knees but endstage arthritis in both shoulders. Hi Karen,
Your best option is to use a soft latex topper to the flip side of your mattress.
The memory foam on the top of your mattress is now useless.
You'll find the poly foam on the underside to be firmer, better support. The 2" soft latex topper will make the surface comfortable.
We've made this recommendation many times with excellent results. You could get years more comfortable sleep out of what you have, before having to buy a new mattress.
