First off, the gel is added to mitigate the fact that memory foam sleeps hot. By all reports, the gel works...but only for a couple/few hours...then the mattress gets hot.

No official study has been done on the safety of memory foam.

From the chemicals that are used, like benzene and naphthalene; isocynates; methylene chloride, 1,1,1-trichloroethane; acetone; ethylene oxide; formaldehyde; acetaldehyde; limonene; styrene;

toluene di-isocyanate, which represent only some of the 61 chemicals used...and, the types of complaints I've heard about it, I'm willing to bet the farm that it is not safe.

A foam mattress has been touted as good for pressure point relief, muscle relaxation and providing a deep night's sleep.

This, in and of itself, is a good thing.

But, this is very similar to the food industry....in that, you can choose to eat all natural organic foods that promote health, or you can eat poisonous processed food.

Here too, you can choose poisonous memory foam, or all natural and organic latex foam.

Latex is the original foam rubber that has been the best you can buy for the past 90 years.

If you're going to buy a foam mattress, it just makes sense to go with latex, which is quality that lasts with no health issues to deal with...and, it sleeps cool...naturally.
