Sealy Gel Series vs. Sealy Sweet Sleeper Hotel Mattress.

Hello,
Lots of questions that dovetail --
I am looking for a mattress like the Sealy Posturepedic Sweet Sleeper however
I encountered another mattress that is the Sealy Posturepedic Gel Series Firm Plush with 825 coil count.  It was a unique feel -- firm yet plush and it seemed as if the coil count mattered because the same "construction" with a 740 or 704 ? coil count didn't feel the same.  Do you know of something  like this with that coil count?
I do not like memory foam -- it runs hot and I do not like the sinking feeling so I am also wondering if these Gel series beds are a good value (last as well as do not have the memory foam problems).
Recently (looks like Sept 2014), you mentioned on your blog to Hyacinth of $1099 for a queen Sweet Sleeper bed set.  Is that mattress set price still available and is that a Gel series or the Reserve line?

Hi Cynthia,
You've collected some bad information. Sealy's Gel Series has lots of memory foam....eliminating it from my list of mattresses to recommend.
The Sweet Sleeper is an "E" Level Posturepedic....which is how to ask for it when you shop, as the model names are different at every store.
From us, the model name is Joyce St. The queen set is still $1099 with free delivery and no sales tax.
Even though the coil count is lower, they are an interlocked coil system....and much stronger than the 825 individually pocketed coil.
If you would like to order that from us, just call the number below. Delivery is free and there's no sales tax.

Thanks, Pete
