Simmons Beautyrest Plush Pillowtop mattress. Too soft & causing pain.

I had a Simmons Beautyrest Pillowtop Plush mattress set 
delivered on Monday. It's the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept 
on. 
However, it sinks in the middle, it is too soft and is very warm. I have never 
woken up with so many aches and pains. They will not allow me to exchange it, even though it has only been two days. Is there any way around this exchange policy? Or, is 
there any way to make a sinking mattress firmer? Thanks. Roger

The stores are selling comfort, to the exclusion of proper support. Your scenario is quite common.
We sell Simmons Beautyrest on our website. If you go to our website, you'll notice the absence of any plush models. I excluded them from my website because of what you are experiencing.
The plush models use a very thin gauge wire coil, which creates to great a depth of softness. The pain from these plush mattresses can be felt right away after sleeping on them, but not felt at the stores when trying them. 
You might consider getting some help. Local TV stations have consumer advocates who love to get involved in things like this. The BBB is another avenue, as well as your state's Attorney General's office. Start with them and don't let up.
