A firm mattress for support with a soft Talalay latex topper for long lasting comfort

Hello,
People keep talking about the Wynn dream bed but after reading some additional information thought I would ask about it. I am 42 male weighing 215lbs. Side sleeper with occasional back/side/stomach position. According to the comments, a firm mattress with latex top would seem to work best. No major neck or joint issues. Some lower back discomfort but probably due to my old pillow top (and just getting older). I sleep on my couch more than my bed. Any recommendations? Btw, I'm planning on purchasing a platform  type bed. Much appreciated. Thank you

Hi Ron,
Buying a mattress from a hotel will cost you 2 to 3 times what the mattress is worth....that is, 2 to 3 times what you would pay at retail for the same mattress.
However, your assessment is correct...a reasonably firm mattress for support, with a 2" layer of soft Talalay latex for comfort...and you have a winning combination that lasts for many years.
