Tempurpedic Mattress, Big Mistake...add a latex topper

I have a history of a partially herniated intervertebral lumbar disc- I have slept for 20+ years on a futon without problems- recently our futon became increasingly uncomfortable- and despite flipping, etc you could see the sag in it- and so we went mattress shopping- 8 weeks of looking, etc.- my husband did not want another futon- too firm- I was looking at an Englander Hotel mattress and was almost decided on that when a huge sale on a tempurpedic opened up- this has been the most comfortable IN STORE mattress I have tried but was always way too expensive- so we bought the tempurpedic and after one night my back is feeling wobbly- I fear we have made a non- returnable BIG MISTAKE- any suggestions?- Thank You!

Hi Rosemary,
Many people find out, too late, that memory foam is the worst thing you can buy.
Flip it over and add a 2" soft Talalay latex topper...and your nightmare mattress will feel a whole more supportive and comfortable. 

Many people in your situation have tried doing what I suggest...and have gotten another 5 years of comfortable sleep.

It's a good alternative to buying a new mattress.
