Latex Mattress Topper

I found your info on some webpage and it said to call or email, but emails were preferred. We have a mattress that is too firm. It is in great condition but too firm. A mattress topper is what we are looking at. Reading different forums and such on the internet led me to believe a Natural Latex Mattress topper in my solution.. I will list the 2 major factors and maybe you can lend some advice.
I weigh 250 and my wife weighs 110.
I hate being too warm when I sleep. That is a large factor in leaning towards the Latex.
Questions I have are:
Do I want a 1, 2 or 3 inch topper?
What firmness? soft, medium or firm?
Do you recommend a latex mattress topper?
Have I overlooked any basic shopping advice when considering a latex mattress topper?
I appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks, Randy

Hi Randy,
There are lots of latex toppers out there and at differnt prices.
"Natural" latex can be only 60% or 70% natural and 40% or 30% synthetic to be called natural. "All-Natural" is just that...100% natural. Then there are the two processes...Dunlop and Talalay, with Talalay being state of the art and US made.
There is an extra step in the Talalay process...a freezing step, that suspends the particles for a more consistant feel.
I find that 2" does a fine job, with 1" being not enough and 3" being too much.
The toppers we carry are all-natural Talalay. Soft, is what you'll want. It does not sleep hot. Memory foam sleeps hot.
