Stearns and Foster Anne Marie Luxury Firm is too firm, needs a soft latex topper

I just purchased the Stearns and Foster Anne Marie Luxury Firm King set and am having second thoughts. My husband and I are used to a firmer mattress but this one seems really firm. Should we give it some more time to allow for the mattress to soften up a bit or should we exchange it for something else? I think MD only sells Sealy, Stearns and Foster, and Serta.

Hi Naomi,
You have a nice strong mattress that will wear well. The softer models take a body impression too easily.
Rather than sacrifice durability for comfort that doesn't last, I suggest you go for comfort that lasts for many years.
Keep what you have and add a 2" layer of soft latex to the surface. The difference in feel is amazing and you'll still have the firm support you need.
